It's typical, really: when we took him to Wings of Paradise, he didn't even notice the butterflies, he was too excited over the little fountain in the lobby. "Water! Water!" When we visited the Children's Museum, he was indifferent to the exhibits (even their mega-cool spaceship) but wanted to spend the whole time going down the slide. And when we took him to the Pineridge Zoo, he virtually ignored the animals but was beguiled by the (rather loud and obnoxious) pair of eleven-year-old boys just ahead of us.
Oh, well. At least he's easily entertained.
