A Pocket Full of Murder

The Two Holmeses

If you're a fan of a) Peter Cushing b) Sherlock Holmes or c) Nicholas Rowe, you will probably enjoy this little interview (which dates all the way back to 1986) as much as I did. It's really quite charming.

I would also point you to my favorite Vermeer painting and comment on the uncanny resemblance, but then my brother Pete would mock me... oh, never mind. Too late.

What's the OPPOSITE of schadenfreude?

Because whatever it is, I has it for erinbow right now.

I am so, so, so delighted to proclaim that Erin's beautiful, poetic, heartbreaking, funny, and altogether wholly wonderful YA novel Plain Kate has found a well-deserved home with a publisher who seems to love it as much as I did when I first read it -- to the tune of six figures, no less! Kate will be published by Arthur A. Levine Books, probably some time in 2010.

Yay, Kate! Yay, Taggle! And congratulations, Erin!
